This is the first in what will be a series of articles regarding commonly asked questions from my clients who use Donaldson & James HR Services. Terminations should never be taken lightly by an employer. Not only does the choice to terminate an employee dramatically affect a person, terminations pose a significant risk of liability if a poor decision is made or the termination is executed improperly. Thus, it stands to reason that the most often asked questions from my clients always surround the topic of termination of employment.
